Three hundred thirty two runners completed the 5K course Saturday, at the third annual Run for Camp Jabberwocky road race beginning and ending at the Farm Institute, Edgartown.
Emmet Shipway, 17, of Avon, Conn., was first to arrive at the finish line having made the run in 18:43, 24 seconds faster than 19 year-old Seamus Morris, of Hanover who was second. David Metz, 29, of Cambridge was third in 19:23.
Fourth to finish was Conner Neill, 17, of Concord who made the run in 19:33; and fifth was Matt Deangelis, 16 of Wellesley Hills at 19:43.
The fastest female finisher was Bonnie Kingsbury, 32, of Vineyard Haven in 20:19. Second was Rebecca Trachsel, 36, of Winchester at 20:55,
Third and fourth, just seconds apart, were 40-year-old Dara Kelly of Edgartown and Maureen Larkin, 47, of Walpole.
Their times were 21:11 and 21:15.
The annual Sullivan 5K in a new format is Saturday, August 27 beginning at Washington Park, Oak Bluffs.
The Kids Fun Run is at 8:45, Walkers start at 9 am, runners at 9:30 am.
Registration on race day is $5 for fun run, $20 for 5K,

The Vineyard Haven Library
The 14th annual Friends of the Vineyard Haven Library 5K is Sunday, September 11, beginning at 10 am. Registration from 8:30 am at the Library. The half mile Kids Fun Run begins at 9:45 am. All registered runners receive a tee-shirt.
The Warrior Triathlon
The Vineyard Warrior Triathlon with special guest Mark Allen, six-time World Champion Ironman, will be Sunday, Sept. 11: 1 mile swim, 24.6 mile bike, 6.2 mile run.
