For Grace Potter and the Nocturnals fans, of which there seem to be a number on the Vineyard, this was a good weekend. The band, which originated in Vermont, is now a national act, with songs in television shows such as “One Tree Hill,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” “All My Children,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
The two shows here this past Sunday and Monday, Aug. 21 and 22 saw large, enthusiastic crowds for the group. The shows were part of a tour that includes Nantucket (which sold out), the Bank of America Pavillion in Boston, and Newport, R.I.
