[More Photos]As Hurricane Irene makes its way up north slowly, businesses in Vineyard Haven get extremely busy as well.
Martha's Vineyard Shipyard has to coordinate and organize the securing of customers' boats. Vineyard Harbor Motel has to create an evacuation plan just in case the storm threatens customers' safety in the building. ACE Hardware has to at least try to keep up with demands for batteries, candles and flashlights.
