Music : Vineyard bands to party on the SeaStreak
[More Photos]Say goodbye to the summer with a bang this weekend with a new-music extravaganza aboard the Seastreak FastFerry on Saturday, Sept. 3. The sunset cruise will take passengers from one end of the Island to the other while offering up entertainment from some of the Island's favorite youth-oriented bands.
On Saturday, the 18-and-over Freedom Cruise will depart from the Steamship Dock at 6:30 pm and travel to Aquinnah and back, returning at 10 pm. There will be a full cash bar with limited snacks and guests can bring their own food.
The musical lineup includes local rap groups Supernova Fieldtrip and Complex Humans, solo rapper Jae Kalah, electronic duo Kodachrome, teen hip-hop, R&B and pop vocalist John Thomas, and DJ Euphony. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at the SeaStreak ticket office at the Oak Bluffs Steamship Authority,
Alley's General Store in West Tisbury,
Aboveground Records in Edgartown, and the store
On The Cliffs in Aquinnah.
