It’s that time or year again when the children head back to school after a long summer break. Now they have to get used to more regulated hours and wearing shoes again. We also are finding parking spaces much easier and less crowded stores and streets. It must be after Labor Day even though the weather has reverted back to hot and humid. Please be aware that there will be many students riding bikes or walking to and from school starting today, so take great care driving to keep our children safe.

There will be a Beauport-Henry Sleeper McCann House and foliage tour on October 13 organized by the Tisbury Travel Club. The tour includes dining at the Gloucester House Restaurant and a route along the North Shore seawall on Hesperus Ave. The foliage should be beautiful. Please call the Tisbury Senior Center for more info or to sign up for the trip.
