A note from the Publisher
The Times discovered this weekend that hackers had molested the newspaper's website, mvtimes.com. Unknown to us, code was inserted into the mvtimes.com home page, which redirected visitors to unfamiliar and unwanted destinations which then attempted to download malware (malicious software consisting of intrusive or hostile program codes) through the users' browsers.
We thank those of you that called alerting us. The malicious code has been removed, and we are taking steps to try to prevent this from happening again in the future.
