To the Editor:
As seasonal residents of Edgartown, we applaud the efforts to expand cable service to Chappy.
This year we stayed at a home in Katama during May and June. Comcast services were provided, which made our stay most enjoyable, as we depend on the Internet for work. We later moved to Chappy during July and August. Who knew that Comcast services did not extend to Chappy as a consequence of previous contract exclusions?
It would seem that Comcast should contract with all areas of a town rather than excluding pieces. The Edgartown selectmen should not allow that inequality to continue.
We love Chappy, but it would be difficult to live there again without 21st Century technology.
