Dina Salvatore BenDavid of Edgartown has been inducted into the Frontier Nursing Honor Society at the Frontier School of Midwifery & Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky.

Taryn Cummens, a 2003 MVRHS graduate and a 2007 graduate of James Madison Univeristy (Bachelor of Science, Chemistry) graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with her Doctor of Pharmacy on May 6, 2011. She now lives in Washington D.C., where she recently accepted the position as the pharmacist at Foer Pharmacy’s new facility at Sibley Hospital.

Jared C. Woollacott of Oak Bluffs has been accepted to a PhD program at Boston University, where he will study human geography — a combination of physical and social sciences. He is the son of Alfred and Jill Woollacott of Oak Bluffs.

Judy Salosky of Tisbury and SSW Mediation Collaborative has joined partner Louisa Williams in earning the status of advanced practitioner in the family section of the national Association for Conflict Resolution. This designation is awarded to mediators who have demonstrated wide-ranging skills and extensive experience in working with divorcing and separating couples. SSW Mediation, which is based in Vineyard Haven, provides conflict resolution help for couples, families, business people, and organizations.
