This year’s Living Local Harvest Festival provided answers to all those questions. With the emphasis on locally grown products, the festival brought Island’s vendors, farmers and companies out to promote sustainable living.
While kids carved pumpkins and attempted to conquer the hay maze, parents tasted local apples, oysters and edible leaves.
Martha’s Vineyard chefs demonstrated cooking with local produce, and landscape designers taught an easy way to growing a fabulous Vineyard lawn.
