The husband and wife team of Scott and Charlotte Caskey won the Hilltopper division, while Ellen Blodgett and Jocelyn Elliot won the Trailblazers division of the Martha's Vineyard Horse Council's second 2011 hunter pace, on October 9.

Twenty-one riders, in teams of two, came out in record-breaking warmth to ride the seven-mile State Forest trail, which included 15 optional jumps.

Speaking for the Horse Council, Tara Whiting thanked sponsors and volunteers for helping support the very successful event.
