Though the weekly West Tisbury Farmers’ Market at the Grange ended in early October, the group has once again started its biweekly Winter Farmers’ Market at the Ag Hall.
The gathering of more than 25 vendors began October 22, and continues this Saturday, Nov. 5, as well as Nov. 19, Dec. 3, and 17, from 10 am to 1 pm. Held indoors, the market features Island goods, a lunch menu, and live music.
Event co-organizer Linda Alley tells us the vendor list: New Lane Sundries, Whippoorwill Farm, Ghost Island Farm (a new farm run by Rusty Gordon, the market co-organizer), Flat Point Farm, Mermaid Farm, Little Rock Farm will serve a hot lunch, The FARM Institute, Bob Daniels of Old Town Gardens, New Moon Magick, Sandy Bernat of Seastone Papers, Holly Bellebuono of Vineyard Herbs, Nicky’s Italian Cafe, Chesca’s sauces, Morning Glory Farm, Blackwater Farm, Cleveland Farm/The Good Farm selling turkey, chicken, and eggs, Andrea Rogers’s lavender, Ralph and Ethel Sherman winter vegetables and jams, The Good Earth of M.V. featuring beach plum jelly, Susan Silva of Briar Rose Farm’s dried reeds and dried flower arrangements, and Beth Serusa’s soaps.
