Degrading tournament
To the Editor:
In response to last week's letter, "The Ocean Needs Sharks," it was so relieving knowing there are so many people from all over the world who want this brutal, savage, degrading tournament of the massive slaughter of these magnificent creatures of the sea stopped once and for all.
It's so unbelievable how adults are teaching our children how to hate, kill, and destroy rather than to protect, nurture, and respect all life.
Wouldn't it be nice if this were taught in the home by the parents and in the schools by the teachers?
Keep up the good work VAST. We are behind you all the way.
