To the Editor:
I was always taught to try and learn from other people’s mistakes. If you really want to know what a roundabout disaster is, please contact the town officials of Clearwater Beach, Florida. They too, did not want a traffic light, so several million dollars later they discovered what a huge mistake they had made. And undoing a roundabout is not the same thing as removing a traffic light.
I would ask that you please reconsider putting a roundabout in. If the traffic is intolerable for two months, put a traffic light in and shut if off for the remaining 10 months.
