Julie Robinson Interiors is now open at a new location at 510 State Road in West Tisbury.
Business owner Julie Robinson said a goal to downsize prompted her move from a 7,000 square foot building on Breakdown Lane in Tisbury to the 1,400 square-foot log cabin style building she is leasing from owners Scott McArthur and Vicky Thurber. The Vineyard Nursing Association plans to buy the Breakdown Lane property.
“This is a great location for us and the space is wonderful,” Ms. Robinson said. “We have an area for fabric, furniture, and a window treatment section. It’s very homey in here, and I think it will be so much easier to manage, because it’s not such a big space.”
In addition to interior design services, Ms. Robinson’s store offers window treatments and upholstery. Employees include upholsterer Richard Dumas, office manager Pam deBettencourt, and fabric manager Shauna Capen.
“We are a Hunter Douglas showcase dealer and have all of the new products for window treatments,” Ms. Robinson said. “We measure and install window treatments, and do a lot of upholstery, offering up-to-date fabrics that we also sell by the yard.”
The store is open 9 am-4 pm on weekdays and by appointment on Saturdays. For more information, call 508-693-5065.
