Charter Schoolers scrub and rinse to fund Italian trip

Every other year, eighth graders from the Charter School spend 10 days in Italy in April, a great time to be there. To raise money — and anticipation — for the trip, students, parents, and teachers break out hoses, brushes, and sponges for a car wash held at the West Tisbury fire station on State Road. The temperate weather on Saturday prompted some washers to lose the boots and bare their feet to the elements. Why not?
