U.S. Postal Service offers North Pole postmarks


For folks who would like a special “North Pole” postmark on their mail, the U.S. Postal Service is once again offering the free service, according to a press release.

To receive the special holiday postmark, affix the correct postage to addressed envelopes and cards, then pack them in a larger envelope, box, Priority Mail, or Express Mail package addressed to: North Pole Holiday Cancellation, Postmaster, 4141 Postmark Dr., Anchorage, AK 99530-9998.

All requests must be received in Anchorage by December 10 to ensure delivery by Christmas.
