Remember that if your computer gets too cold, it may not be able to work. It is a bit late to give you this warning: Don’t hide your electronic gifts in the car trunk. Most can be easily damaged when the temperature drops below freezing. If your hard drive experiences freezing weather, allow some time to warm it up to room temperature before operating. And always use surge protectors this time of year. That word of warning comes from people who specialize in data recovery. They also suggest that you back up all the files on your old computer before you try to transfer them to a new one.
