Greening Martha : Island Dems will host sustainability advocate
The Martha's Vineyard Democrats monthly meeting held from 9 am to 10:30 am, Saturday, January 14, at the Howes House in West Tisbury will feature guest speaker Mary Jane Sorrentino.
Ms. Sorrentino is a sustainability consultant with the Climate Reality Project founded by former vice president Al Gore. She will present a half-hour program on elements of the climate crisis which impact our community and offer means to address some of its impact, according to a press release. The public is invited.
