Deepest sympathies
To the Editor:
I write with much sadness that a Vineyard love has fallen from us.
Amanda Hutchinson was one of the Island mothers that took me in her safe keeping when I first arrived on the Island in 1999, a bit weary from life. Her kindness and attention made a challenging transition soft and easier.
Together with her really terrific children, she nursed me into the gentle flow of Vineyard life. Amanda was part of our Island's greatness and will be sorely missed by many. My deepest sympathy to her family.
