Registration for Special Olympics aquatic program

Initial registration for the YMCA's new Special Olympics aquatic program will take place Saturday, Feb. 11 from 11 to 1 pm at the YMCA of Martha's Vineyard. Registration is ongoing throughout the spring.
The program is open to anyone with a developmental or physical disability, age eight or over. Interested athletes and caregivers should plan to get in the water for skill assessment. The program, which begins this spring, will involve weekly practices and a swim meet.
