Hockey ahead, time to cheer
To the Editor:
What a lineup ahead of us this weekend. The Martha's Vineyard Ice Arena is playing host to three off-Island boys varsity hockey teams for the 15th annual Fairleigh Dickenson Hockey Tournament. Saturday at 5 pm, Masconomet and Dennis-Yarmouth face off, followed by the Vineyard vs. Lynnfield game at 7. With Lynnfield ranked sixth and the Vineyard eighth, this should be exciting. The consolation game is Sunday at 1 pm, and the championship at 3. Our boys are doing the best they've done in years with a 12-4-1 record. They're in the playoffs, and the future looks bright. Come support the boys and cheer our team to victory.
