Thanks for the letter

To the Editor:

I want to thank Susan Desmarais for her Letter to the Editor ["Thank you, commissioner," February 9] of The Martha's Vineyard Times concerning Gail Barmakian. Gail is one of those persons who loves Oak Bluffs and cares about the senior citizens, the youth of the Island, and the poor. Now we can add one more item to that list, the ratepayers of the wastewater enterprise.

I believe that she has the best interest of the wastewater system users in her heart. Thank you, Gail, for your love and concern for the town and people of Oak Bluffs.
