Nancy Bradford Whiting, known for her gentle and compassionate nature, died of a heart attack at her home in Montpelier, Vermont, on February 3, 2012. She was 61.

Nancy was born in Brockton on May 1, 1950, the daughter of retired Tisbury accountant Eileen Whiting and the late Raymond Whiting of Tisbury.
