Life Line will offer stroke and osteoporosis screenings
Life Line Screening, a company that specializes in medical screening technology, will set up its equipment and offer screenings intended to reduce a person's risk of having a stroke or bone fracture at the Edgartown American Legion Post 186 on Katama Road on Tuesday, March 27.
Preventive ultrasound screenings can help individuals avoid a stroke and identify potential cardiovascular conditions, according to a press release. Screenings identify potential cardiovascular conditions such as blocked arteries and irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and hardening of the arteries in the legs, which is a strong predictor of heart disease.
Packages start at $149. For more information, call 1-877-237-1287 or go to lifelinescreening.com.
