Thanks to all of you
To the Editor:
The boys basketball team and I thank all the teachers, students, Islanders, and former Islanders that made the trip to UMass Boston for the South Sectional Championship game against Wareham.
While we didn't get the desired outcome, the support and enthusiasm from the crowd was unbelievable. It made me appreciate, once again, what a great place the Vineyard is to live.
We will always have our disagreements among ourselves over various projects and policies, but when push comes to shove, we are all Vineyarders, and that was never more apparent than this past Saturday.
We can't thank you enough for your support all year long and look forward to providing you with more entertainment next season. Thank you!
