Martha's Vineyard Ice Arena plans renovations
The Martha's Vineyard Ice Arena has taken a first step toward opening a new capital campaign. The funds raised will be used to replace the steel roof at the rink and to insulate the entire facility, walls and roof, to improve energy efficiency.
Plans are also in the works to renovate and expand the existing lobby to better accommodate the growing number of user groups.
The Arena leadership has prepared a request for proposals for architects and builders who wish to participate in project. Find the request for proposals at the arena website, mvarena.com.
