Martha's Vineyard hoops player Keaney honored for 1,000th point

Massachusetts state representative Tim Madden honored Martha's Vineyard Regional High School senior Peter Keaney with an award Sunday, commemorating his 1,000 career point, scored in a boys varsity basketball game against Norton in Oak Bluffs on December 28.
Mr. Madden presented the award on behalf of the State House of Representatives during the team's banquet Sunday night in the MVRHS cafeteria.
