New season, new changes for Dockside Inn on Oak Bluffs harbor
The Griffin Madison Corporation announced the purchase of the Dockside Inn, a 20-room inn overlooking Oak Bluffs harbor. The principals are no strangers to Martha's Vineyard.
Partners Caleb Caldwell, co-owner of the Madison Inn and the Nashua House Hotel in Oak Bluffs, and John Tiernan, businessman and a native Islander, purchased the hotel, built in 1988, on January 25 and began major renovations that are currently underway.
Significant updates and improvements at the property include a state-of-the-art online reservation system, 24/7 telephone reservation capability, market-sensitive pricing, upgraded website and brochure, all new linens, furniture, fixtures and lighting, new landscaping, and an updated paint palette inside and out, according to a press release.
