So many to thank

To the Editor:

On Sunday March 25, a hearty group of runners/walkers participated in the 14th Annual St. Patrick's Dayish 5K Road Race and Walk, hosted by the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School track team. The race would not have been so successful without the help and support from our community members.

First we thank Peter Lambos, director of the M.V. Boys & Girls Club, for giving the high school track team the opportunity to take over the race and for his guidance throughout the transition. We thank all our sponsors, the M.V. Savings Bank, Hinckley Lumber, Broadway Screen Printing, Rosbeck Builders, Dukes County Sheriff's Department, Vineyard Weight Loss Center, Gary BenDavid Builders, Center for Therapeutic Massage, Vineyard Decorators, M.V. Pool and Spa, Jim's Package Store, Stop & Shop, Beetlebung, LB Form Co, and Parker Carpet.

Last but not least, thanks to the Jackson family and their staff for allowing us to fill the Ocean View with a whole bunch of sweating runners/walkers.
