Write-in candidate makes four way race for Edgartown Fincom
Tom Durawa, now chairman of the Edgartown financial advisory committee, will stage a write-in campaign for reelection to the seat. His name will not appear on the ballot.
"I forgot to get my papers in on time," Mr. Durawa said. "I'm actively interested in being a candidate, and being elected."
Mr. Durawa has served two terms as a member of the financial advisory committee, and served as a selectman before that.
Three other candidates will appear on the ballot, for three open seats on the committee.
Incumbents Morton Fearey Jr. and Barbara Shriber will run for reelection. Also seeking election to the financial advisory committee is Alexander Rentumis.
Voters will elect town officers in annual elections scheduled for April 12.
