The Tisbury special town meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 3, never got off the ground. The meeting was to begin at 7 pm, but by 7:30 only 92 voters had appeared, eight short of the 100 needed for a quorum.
Town officials will ask voters to do double duty when they gather for Tisbury’s annual town meeting at 7 pm, Tuesday, April 10.
Town moderator Deborah Medders said she would convene the annual town meeting at 7 pm, recess the meeting, and call a special town meeting, complete that business, and then reconvene the annual town meeting.
