Art in the Stacks: Marilyn Miller

Photographer Marilyn Miller is the next artist on exhibit at the Vineyard Haven Library’s Art in the Stacks show. During regular library hours through the month of April, see Ms. Miller’s original 35 mm photography as well as digital images.

Her collection celebrates the many aspects of the Vineyard, from farm to sea, and day to night. You may recognize Ms. Miller’s photography from recent Savor the Moment calendars published by the Oak Bluffs Library.

Free film, one last time

The Chilmark Library’s last Free Friday Night Movie of the series is this Friday, April 13. See Mike Nichol’s 1966 film version of Edward Albee’s play starring Liz Taylor and Richard Burton, and enjoy free popcorn and drinks. Celebrate with lobster rolls

Grace Episcopal Church in Vineyard Haven serves its final off-season lobster rolls this Sunday, April 15, from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm.

Lobster rolls make a great lunch for family or friends whether you’re celebrating Patriots’ Weekend or rejoicing that your taxes are finally done. Still $15, the plump rolls are served with chips and beverage.

Community Poetry Reading
