Pay Tisbury Water Works bills to avoid service shut-off

April 11, 2012

Tisbury Water Works (TWW) customers with delinquent accounts must pay them in full by Monday, April 23, to prevent water service shut-offs. Accounts not paid will be terminated on Tuesday, April 24, and subject to a $60 fee.

After payment is made in full, service will be restored to delinquent account holders during regular business hours only, from 8 am to 3 pm on weekdays.

The TWW adheres to Massachusetts General Laws and does not shut off water in homes occupied by a seriously ill person or an infant less than 12 months. In a case of serious illness, the TWW requires written verification by a physician. For infants, verification of age with a birth certificate is required.

The TWW office at 400 West Spring Street is open 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. There is a drop box mounted on the building next to the front door. For more information, call 508-693-3100.
