Birds, bees, butterflies, and bats
To the Editor:
Who has ordered this lovely spring week for earth, in honor of Mother Nature on Earth Day – April 22?
I thought I would thank her for blessing us with flowers and birds and fresh air and sunshine. I'd like to share this quote with all, from Henry David Thoreau:
"Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each."
Kudos to having a real spring for once. It's been a while.
