What a beautiful Patriot’s Day was this past Monday. Many people are here checking out their houses and many children are on school vacation. Our progress is somewhat slowed down by all the road projects going on but they are moving along so swiftly that they should be finished before we know it. Local elections and town meetings are just about over and now we can relax a bit from politics until fall and try to enjoy the Red Sox games without having an anxiety attack.

Our former Wing Road neighbors Ernestine and Bob Kinnecom are home after a month’s vacation in Florida where they visited some of their children and grandchildren. But like true Islanders I think they are glad to be back here again.

Also arriving this week from a winter spent off Island is Cee-J Jones who celebrates a milestone birthday next week.
