Falmouth Academy holds open house for Islanders

Falmouth Academy will host an admissions open House on Saturday, May 12, from 2 to 4 pm for families interested in learning more about the school.

Falmouth Academy students, teachers, and parents will be on hand to discuss their experiences at the school. A van will pick up Vineyard families at 2 pm in Woods Hole to transport them to the school. It will return them to Woods Hole in time for the 5 pm ferry, according to a press release.

Visitors will have the opportunity to view the school's Spring Art Show, which highlights student work in painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture and woodworking.

Falmouth Academy is an academically rigorous, independent day school for college-bound students in grades 7 to 12. More than 20 students from Martha's Vineyard will attend the school next year. For more information, call the admissions office at 508-457-9696 or visit www.falmouthacademy.org.
