Roundabout, but somewhere else
To the Editor:
While I am in favor of the Roundabout, why build it at the blinkety-blink four-way stop where problems no longer exist? Put it two miles further west where it'll do some good, at the intersection of Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road and State Road.
And while we're at it, let's close off Look Street to thru traffic — then maybe I can sleep in past 5 am. It seems to me that if cars were meant to be speeding down Look Street all day and night, the good lord would have called it Look Out Street instead.
