The Martha’s Vineyard Women’s Network will award Ariana Feldberg, owner of Ideal Dental Laboratory in Aquinnah, its third annual small business grant.
The $2,500 grant is given to a Vineyard business person who wants to improve, grow, or start a new business on the Vineyard or to build the skill to do this, according to a press release.
Ms. Feldberg was chosen out of 15 applicants by a grant committee composed of MVWN board members and community business leader Nancy Shaw Cramer, owner of Shaw Cramer Gallery.
Ms. Feldberg founded her company in 2011. Her lab primarily provides orthodontic and denture prosthetics, with the ability to create and repair dentures on the Island with a quick turnaround time, according to MVWN. She will use the grant money for more education and equipment for her lab.
The grant will be awarded Tuesday, May 8, at the MVWN’s final program of the year featuring New York Times best-selling author Sarah Ban Breathnach, who will speak on her latest book, “Peace and Plenty, Finding Your Path to Financial Serenity.”
