Jovian Kerr of Oak Bluffs died Friday, May 4, after a sudden and unexpected illness. He was 31.

Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, to the late Joan and John Kerr, Jovian was a longtime resident of Martha's Vineyard and well liked in the community. He was a lighthearted and adventurous individual who always looked on the bright side of life. Jovian had a heart of gold, full of kindness and generosity.

Jovian was a self-taught, lifelong learner with an uncanny ability to understand nearly any complicated system. His abilities served him well as an entrepreneur who worked with many businesses and individuals in the community. He was always willing to tackle a challenge thrown his way.

Jovian was taken far too early. He is loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
