Martha's Vineyard bridge club results
First and second place finishes were tightly contested at the Thursday, May 3, Island Bridge Club (IBC) duplicate competition. Michael and Sandy Lindheimer took first place overall. Second place winners were the team of Dotti Arnold and Diana Dozier — less than a percentage point out of first.
Barbara Besse and Bob Iadicicco took third place overall.
Five tables were in play.
The ACBL-sanctioned Island Bridge Club duplicate competition is held Thursday evenings at 7 pm at the Up-Island Council on Aging Howes House in West Tisbury. The cost is $5 a session. Players needing a partner are urged to contact Duncan at (508) 693-0234 or Dr_dew@comcast.net by noon on Wednesday for assistance.
