Squash Meadow completes LEED house in Vineyard Haven

Squash Meadow Construction completed a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified home in Vineyard Haven. The home, owned by John and Anne Grandin and designed by Sullivan-O’Connor Architects, is the first ever to be certified by the US Green Building Council in Vineyard Haven, according to a Squash Meadow press release. LEED is a rating system that promotes the design and construction of high-performance homes.

Conservation Services Group preformed the inspections on the Grandin house. On May 8th, the building council officially designated the home as LEED Silver.
