Chronic complainers, that's the answer
To the Editor:
Anyone reading the MV Times must wonder why dogs are an issue only on Lambert's Cove Beach and only for the town of West Tisbury. Dogs are allowed on various Edgartown and Chilmark beaches, yet one never hears a peep about owners not picking up after their pets from either town.
Two conclusions come to mind: Either all of the irresponsible dog owners congregate on Lambert's Cove Beach or else a few outspoken and chronic complainers have undue influence with the West Tisbury authorities. I can only guess which one it is.
