Martha's Vineyard bridge club results
Gail Farrish and Patsy McCornack took first place among the north-south players at the Thursday, May 31, Island Bridge Club (IBC) duplicate competition. Len Aberbach and Richard Cobin were the first-place finishers among the east-west playing teams.
Ten tables were in play with a number of new players and returning summer competitors including Robert Cornell, Andrew Jacknian , Len Aberbach, Richard Cobin as well as Susan and Wally Epstein.
The ACBL-sanctioned Island Bridge Club duplicate competition is held Thursday evenings at 7 pm at the Up-Island Council on Aging's Howes House in West Tisbury. Players needing a partner are urged to contact Duncan at 508-693-0234 Dr_dew@comcast.net by noon on Wednesday for assistance. The cost is $5 per session.
