New outdoor farm stand planned for State Road, Tisbury
Island businessman Elio Silva has big plans for the State Road property in Tisbury just past Cronig's Market that he purchased last year formerly occupied by Island Home Furnishings. Some time this fall construction is expected to begin on an expanded Tisbury Farm market that will combine his two current stores, Vineyard Grocer, and Tisbury Farm Market, on the site.
While completing preparations for that transition, Mr. Silva plans to operate a seasonal outdoor farm stand featuring local produce, a food truck, and the work of local artists, according to a press release.
