Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation adds new directors, elects officers

Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation has announced that at its annual meeting on June 15 it welcomed five new directors to the board, re-elected several existing directors to new terms, re-elected officers, and welcomed three new honorary directors.

Michael Berwind of Edgartown and Harvard, Susan Crampton of Vineyard Haven and Vero Beach, Fla., Peter Getsinger of Chappaquiddick and Darien, Conn., David Grain of Chilmark and Sarasota, Fla., and Bill Howell of Oak Bluffs joined the board for three-year terms.

Directors Chris Alley, Susannah Bristol, and Kathy Ham were re-elected to second three-year terms on the board. Directors Emily Bramhall, Christian Halby, and Lil Province were re-elected to third three-year terms on the board.

In officer elections, John Schaefer was re-elected as President, Rob McCarron as Vice-President, Terry Guylay as Treasurer, and Alley Moore as Clerk and Assistant Treasurer.

Long-serving director Edo Potter, past President April Hamel, and past President Rez Williams were all elected to serve as Honorary Directors for the Foundation.

“This slate of new directors continues our effort to broaden connections to year-round and seasonal communities on Martha’s Vineyard. We are delighted to welcome this very strong group of new Directors to our organization and to welcome our Honorary Directors back to Sheriff’s Meadow,” said Foundation President John Schaefer.
