Driving early in the morning on the Island in the summertime is rather like waking up. Like the flutter of your lashes when you awake, a few people venture out on foot or bike. Then as only minutes pass, the traffic increases to include cars, more people and more bikes until the town is fully awake and everywhere you look there is movement. The scene changes so quickly, it seems impossible that everything was so serene only an hour before. But that is life and that is summer on this Island.
