Tireless effort
To the Editor:
On behalf of Martha's Vineyard Youth Hockey, I would like thank Peter Gillis for his tireless effort and successful outcome in bringing such high caliber hockey coaches to our Island. The August 6-9 summer hockey camp was a fundraiser for youth hockey.
Ralph Stewart did a great job covering the event in the sports section on August 9.
The kids, while learning new drills, working hard, and getting ready for the 2012-13 season, had a lot of fun.
Thank you to; Mike Cavanaugh, Aleca Hughes, Bobby Allen, Pat Mullane, and Brain Dumoulin for your time, energy and expertise.
