Music : Dancing on the dock at Memorial Wharf in Edgartown

Every Tuesday this summer through August, the Memorial Wharf in Edgartown was hopping with music and dancing at the weekly Dock Dances. Bands such as Biggie Shortie performed R&B and funk tunes while families danced and enjoyed the view of the harbor.

There is one scheduled dance left, and a possibility of a few more in the fall. The events, which run from 7:30 to 10 pm, are free and great for kids and adults alike.

Playing next Tuesday, Aug. 28, will be Adam Lipsky, Nico Ewing, Tim Moliterno, and Mike Alberice. John Stanwood, Adam Petkus, and Brad Tucker may join the bill too.
