"Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons" by Eric Litwin – This is the third installment in the Pete the Cat series. Pete loves the buttons on his shirt so much he decides to make a song about them. Even as the buttons begin to pop off his shirt, he still finds a reason to sing because to him, "it's all good." "Liesl and Po" by Lauren Oliver – Young adult author Lauren Oliver recently began her foray into the juvenile fiction world. This book follows Liesl, an orphan, and her newest friend, Po, who also happens to be a ghost. They meet Will, the runaway apprentice of a powerful alchemist. With some of the most powerful magic in tow, the three embark on an important journey.
"Red Knit Cap Girl" by Naoko Stoop – A little girl and her woodland friends live in an enchanted forest, but more than anything they wish to talk to the moon. Follow the beautiful story of a girl searching to fulfill her dream.
