Poets Corner: Crossed the Canal

Poets Corner: Crossed the Canal

Crossed the Canal

And turned left

Wrong.

Meant to take a right

On my way to magic.

One more channel to cross.

Maybe I’m the first,

But they’ll talk about it

So loud

My mate will make her way to me.

Cape Cod, No.

I was meant to be

The black bear of Martha’s Vineyard.
